I am sorry to read in the
papers about the passing of Dr. T. Vijayaraghavan, the Director of our Ramanujan Institute
of Mathematics. In his death we have lost a savant in Mathematics and the Institute Is
distinctly poorer for this loss. I do not know the address of any of the members of his
family and so, I request you to convey to them my heartfelt condolences and sympathy on
their sad bereavement. |
